My Story

Hi, I’m Stephanie — Registered Dietitian, Health Coach, Mom, and Founder of Happy Belly Mama…I am so glad you are here!

A woman with long brown hair in a black ruffled sleeve top and blue jeans is sitting on a kitchen island with one leg crossed over the other and her bare foot hanging down. She is holding a white mug and smiling at the camera. The kitchen has white cabinets, a stainless steel refrigerator, and a black oven. There is a bowl of green grapes on the island.

I created Happy Belly Mama to help busy women and moms feel better from the inside out without restrictive diets or overwhelming wellness rules.

As a mom myself, I understand how easy it is to put your health on the back burner while juggling work, family, meals, schedules, and everyday life. Too many women are walking around feeling bloated, exhausted, stressed, and disconnected from their bodies — believing it’s just “normal.”

I’m here to help change that.

I grew up in an Argentinian household and my mother always prepared delicious cultural food, but with her own healthy spin. Baked empanadas instead of fried. This inspired me and I developed a passion for cooking. I planned on going to culinary school after High School graduation until I took a sports nutrition class and started connecting the dots. Food can connect people together from a social and cultural standpoint but it is also fuel nourishment for our bodies. I decided to pursue nutrition.

I’ve worked with many different populations, but my favorite are busy moms with tummy troubles. I went through my own journey, struggling with IBS most of my adult life, and then digestive issues that worsened postpartum. Discovering functional nutrition has been life changing for me and I incorporate those strategies with my clients.

My approach combines evidence-based nutrition with functional, root-cause strategies to support gut health, energy, metabolism, hormones, and overall wellness in a realistic and sustainable way.

That means:

  • simple, family-friendly nutrition

  • balanced meals without food guilt

  • personalized support

  • realistic habits that fit real life

  • getting to the “why” behind symptoms instead of masking them

I believe wellness should feel supportive — not stressful.

At Happy Belly Mama, my goal is to help clients feel empowered, educated, and confident in nourishing themselves and their families without perfection or extremes.

When I’m not coaching clients or creating gut-friendly recipes, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and 2 young kids, trying new recipes, creating content for the Happy Belly Mama community, or traveling with my family.

Whether you’re struggling with digestive symptoms, low energy, inflammation, or simply want a more balanced approach to health, I’d love to support you on your journey.
